Our little Gymnast

Kaylee Jo had a little gymnastics exhibition so that we could all watch what she has been practicing. Since she is a level 3, she is not competing yet; that will happen when she moves to level 4. She started in a mom and me class at 18 months, and has been taking off and on since then. The last year and a half she has really been loving it and working so hard. She moved from level 1 to level 3, and is looking really great! We are so proud of her!
Here she is on the bars.
This was during her little floor routine that she has worked SO hard on!
She has been learning how to do her handstands on the beam. I never realized how hard it was to go up and then come back down right in the right spot until I watched her the past few months. Here she did it so great for the audience. I was so happy for her.
This was in the beginning of her routine on the beam. She has had a lot of hard falls and some serious raspberries when she gets home from falling off this beam. You would think after all that, she might not like it, but she says it is her favorite!
Here was part of her little fan club. Marcie and Steven and their kids always come Kaylee's and Emmie's performances of different things. Thanks so much for your support! (Left to right-Brooklyn, Emmie, Jaynee, Jaxton and then Brecken in the back.) She also had Amy and her kids there and of course Grandpa and Grandma.

Family Reunion

We made our way to cedar for our family reunion. We had such a fun time. Here are all 12 little grandkids. Mariam (Cam's sister) found all matching shirts for the kids. Thanks so much! I'll start at the left and go across the top and then back to the front and those sitting. McKade, McKella, Maddy, Melena, Kaylee, Sydnee, Mckade, Sydney, Myam Ella, Jaynee and Kayden. (sorry family members for me mispelling names! Or sorry Mariam if I got the twins wrong. They may not be identical, but in a picture? Thats tough!)
Emmie having fun in the water. The kids played water games most of the time we were there!
The dads wearing their sombreros! (Cam and Kiley)
I loved this! Jaynee and Aunt Lindsay. She loved to have her undivided attention!
Jaynee gave our fishy kisses for a good 5 minutes. Look at how her arms are wrapped around Cam. She made sure he wasn't going anywhere until she was finished!
We had a camp fire that night. The kids roasted marshmallows and made smores while we sang songs with Grandad and his guitar.
Grandad has all kinds of fun songs. After 9 years of marriage, I am still learning them.
Kaylee Jo patiently roasting the perfect smore marshmallows.
Hmmmm, one too many smores for the Jaynee! She LOVED them!

Happy Birthday Jaynee and Casey!

Jaynee and cousin Casey share the 27th of July as their birthday. Jaynee turned 2 and Casey turned 8. The night was spent at Amy's place. It started with a baseball game with Grandpa.
Andrew wacking the ball.
I had to put this picture on the blog. It reminded me of my grandpa (my dad's side). As dad winds up, he does this huge wind up and then switches his hand and pitches it behind his back. As a little girl I used to think this was so funny, and now it is just as funny for me to watch dad do it to my own kids.

Then we had a pinata. Here is Kaylee giving it a whirl-she actually hit it really hard!
Jaynee decided that hitting the pinata was not for her. She went after her uncle Carter and gave him a good whack! I was video taping at the time and just about dropped the camera! It was so funny. She was first to hit it cause she was the youngest, and she had never done a pinata before. Everyone was telling her to hit it, so I guess she decided that "it" was Carter!
Jaynee loves puzzles.
Casey and Jaynee's cakes. Erin made Casey's baseball cake. Mine is the simple pink one because that is Jaynees favorite(well at least it is the only color that she really knows!)
Blowing out "all" those candles. She actually did it-although I thing she may have had help from sisters-the picture tells all!
"Papa" and Jaynee sharing cake. Jaynee loves to share food with grandpa and vise versa!
Only a grandpa!!!

Uncle Wado giving the birthday girl kisses. Look at her big cheeser grin!

Riding the slide and coaster

Wade and Erin and their family came for a visit from London. It was so much fun to have them here to celebrate the 24th and the birthdays too. (They also came because Erin's brother was getting married.) We did so many fun things and made lots of fun "cousin" memories-swimming, birthdays and just hanging out.
Another thing we did was go to the mountains to ride the slide and coaster and carousel. This was requests of wade-wanting to be and go to the mountains after living in the UK for a while. The slide was so much fun cause I got to ride with Jaynee. I caught Kaylee and was able to watch her too. Cam was on the other slide cheering Kaylee on, so we basically all rode it together! The kids also rode the coaster and had an absolute blast! They all came running down the mountain saying "again, again, again!" Unfortunitly it is a bit hard to get pics of the coaster.

The Carousel

Here is Addie (4) riding the carousel.

Mandy (3 ) and Amy.

Jaynee(2). Notice her choice of animal-certainly a reflection of her personality!

Kaylee Jo riding her "white"horse. She talks about having a white horse some day-so...here it is! Now I am off the hook!

Sydney (6-) having a great time!

Before all this, the girls (Heather, Erin, Amy, Mom and me all went shopping to the outlets while the guys kept all the kids at Ty's house. We met them for dinner at a restaurant right by the slide and coaster adn then played. After all this fun, we headed to the chocolate factory for some apples and ice cream. It was such a fun day!

4th of July

That morning I ran the 10k and happily beat my time from last year! It was fun and was a great race. Cam brought the girls to the parade and they had a blast!

Waiting eagerly for the parade to start!

I just thought this was pretty precious
Hoping to be thrown a piece of candy! Little beggars! Jaynee finally gave up and got her treats where she knew she could get it!!

Then we did the slip and slide and BBQ in the back of Grandma and Grandpa's. Can you tell this is Jaynee's first time on the "slip" and slide. She got the "slip" part down, but not so good on the "slide" part!
She got right up, and went over and over again! We had as much fun as she did just watching!

Emmie had this down pretty good!!
Can you see the collision about to take place!?
On our way to the fireworks. I had to take this pic cause Jaynee usually says "scawey" (scary) when cam puts her on his shoulders. But this time she let him and loved it.

Kind of blurry, but Jaynee hung out with "papa" a lot of the time while we watched the fireworks. Emmie played with Jaynee and her cousins (Chelsea and Greg's Kids) and then Kaylee was invited by Ty and his family to go to "Hannah Montana!" She was so excited! But we misssed her. It was such a fun day, and so much more fun to just watch them and their reactions to everything!
