Daisy the dog

This was the initial surprise. Their faces are perfect!
This is what she did when we tried to put her down. I was starting
to wonder if she was crippled! I think she was just so nervous to be away from familiar people and things. She was bouncing around like a rabbit about 20 minutes later.

This is where she rode home. She found a little crevice between Emmie and Jaynee's seats.
Shelly Haslem is to blame for us having a dog!!!Two weeks ago we watched her little dog Maisy. I just loved having her around. She was my little shadow, and I actually slept better having her there. So, I called Cam and told him that I think it is time to start looking. I looked that day and found this little puppy in overton Nevada (between Las Vegas and Mesquite). So we picked her up on the way back from Vegas and surprised the kids at the in-laws with the puppy. They named her Daisy but Emmie said she'll call her fluffy!? Anyway, we are in the middle of house training! She really is a good dog. She is only 11 weeks old and loves to be around the girls. She pretty much sleeps on their heads!!! I am happy we have her and hope to be able to make great family memories with her as I did with my dog while growing up. So thank you Shelly for helping me make the jump into this new adventure. My kids have wanted a dog since the day they were born!

I love this picture!

The picture was taken right before we walked out the door to go to vegas. My mother -in-law was trying to cut up strawberries for a pie, and in the mean time, Jaynee dragged her chair from the dining room, strategically placing it right next to the strawberry bowl. Climbs up and just moters them down. I had a hard time leaving this little person. She is so much work, but so much fun!

Booth Babes

Me(half asleep), Holly and Lorissa.
Last week I went to Vegas to work with Cam as a temporary employee of Wingate. I work the registration desk and help people get their badges for the conferences and lots of other stuff. These are two other wives who went to work too. We have so much fun just people watching and laughing until we're sick about who knows what! When you work 80 hours in 5 days, you start to think everything is funny!
Anyway, we sit right outside the expo hall. When the hall is open, different vendors have these "beautiful women" staged at their particular booth to help lure people to come over and talk with them. Some of them really are beautiful, and others just have lots of makeup! -whatever works I guess! But, we like to say that we represent Wingate as being their booth babes, and that is the only reason why they want us to come!!! This picture was taken on the last day when we were so tired and so sick of sitting at the desk! Don't we look good!!!!! Ha!
The kids stayed at my grandma and grandad Chatfield's.They had so much fun I am sure they weren't as happy to see me as I was to see them. My in laws sit on an acre just outside of cedar city and have every kind of fun thing to do out in the yard. Its getting a lot harder to leave my kids though. Leaving someone for a week with all 3 kids is quite the task. My mother-in-law was so tired by half way through the week, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to stay. Jaynee is just entering the terrible twos and that was probably the most tiring part.

Wallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Walmart yesterday and as we passed a row of shelves with all this "wally" character stuff on it, she just about died!!!! I am not joking! She was standing up in the cart, squeeling at the top of her lungs, pointing and saying wallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, wallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! It was so funny! She had Kaylee and Emmie laughing so hard. Some guy was standing by us totally laughing! I couldn't help it-I bought the dang pillow! So we get it, and I am not joking you when I say it hasn't left her side. She even brought it to church today!!! So embarrassing. But not having Cam with me, I have to choose my battles, and this was not one of them. I checked on her last night, and this was how I found her. I wonder what she will do in the movie theater when we take her to see it (normally I am not a big movie junkie for this type-I would opt for the dollar theater-but I am sure we will be there front and center just to get some good laughs from her.)
She learned about Wally when Cam would show her the movie trailers. Now when he comes home and unloads his computer, the first thing she says is "wally". She has all the trailers memorized!

Daddy's little dancer

Movin' and groovin!
WOW Emmie! So graceful!!!

Emmie and Britney were in the same class!
So I had to dedicate this post to Daddy who was out of town for her recital. He only missed it by a few hours, but he was on the phone right before it started wanting to talk to her and asking me to take pictures with my phone and send them to him. (we all know I am technologically challenged so of course that didn't happen). So this post is for you daddy! (Even though the idea of "cheer leader" or anything remotely close to it scares him to death!)
It has been fun to watch Boo over the last few months learning her 4 dances and coming home from practice, putting in her CD and dancing in front of the TV where she could see her reflection. She truly loves it with all of her heart!!! She woke up on Friday morning, and asked if it was time to curl her hair and put on her makeup. You can imagine how long this day was for her considering it didn't start until 6:30 that night. Good Job Emmie!

End of School party

The title of my post lets you know the last time I actually did anything on our blog!! At least I have pictures to prove that life has been eventful the past few weeks. Shelly and I decided to do a "last day of school party" with the kids. They thought it was great-(thanks for supplying the pizza Shelly!)
I can't believe Kaylee is done with first grade!!!! Where did the time go? We will have one in second grade and one in kindergarten next year! I used to look at other mom's who had school aged children and thought those days are so far away for me! And now they are here and they are flying by!
